Which condition needs checking before action, and what could you organise meanwhile?

A reading step by step

Try this example with changing lines: enter 9, 7, 7, 8, 7, 8 from bottom to top. Line 1 changes. Nine is changing yang and six is changing yin; seven and eight remain stable. Open the reading to follow the initial hexagram into the relating one.

  • Initial figure · 5 · Xu: Prepared waiting uses what remains within reach.
  • Related figure · 48 · Jing: A shared source needs access and care to remain available.

History and inspiration

The sixty-four hexagrams combine six solid or broken lines, read from bottom to top. Each entry presents the figure and a contemporary reading of its themes. In a consultation, stable and changing lines connect the primary and relating hexagrams; your result keeps that sequence.
